Are decisions on nuclear weapons being taken on the basis of good scientific evidence?

This session discussed the way in which scientific and technical considerations are used in nuclear weapons decision-making in Europe, and contrasted it with the situation in the US. It explored ways of improving the openness of European decision making processes to ensure they are healthy and robust, and not biased by narrower commercial or political considerations.

New Film Exposes “Deadly Cargo” on British Roads

A film shedding new light on the danger and secrecy surrounding the transport of nuclear warheads on public roads throughout Britain will be launched on Saturday 29th March at the Glasgow Film Theatre.
